Boys Take Donkey From Park
Omaha Police are searching for a stolen donkey and the two boys who took it.
According to the police report someone phoned in a theft in progress crime from Florence Park at 30th and State Streets.
The witness told police two teenage boys had managed to take a “rocking donkey” from its spring base and were carrying it away.
When officers arrived in the area they located the lone spring still embedded in the base but could not locate the boys or donkey.
The caller last saw the boys headed north from 31st and Willit.
The report does not indicate the cost to replace the donkey.
