Bond Set For Murder Suspects

While Arthur and Sharie Plunkett are mourning the loss of their 16-year-old son Montrell Wiseman, they are also trying to make sure they get justice.

Matthew Saunsoci was given a bond Wednesday of $500,000, Joshua Vanackeren at $750,000 and Adam Gamble at $250,000. The suspects must put 10 percent of that amount down to be let out.

“We need to hold these judges, city officials and whoever accountable," said Arthur. "To allow murderers to get these low bonds and get back on the streets, so retaliation and whatever their motive was, to continue.”

We are also learning morning about these men. Wednesday, Francis Cayou was also arrested for the murder. His criminal past includes a conviction for manslaughter, for which he spent at least 10 years in jail. A fifth suspect, Angelo Tolbert, is still on the loose.

We have new details on a possible motive for the shooting. A friend tells Channel 6 News that Saunsoci recently lost his cousin, Anthony Saunsoci, in a shooting last month.

The Plunketts believe their son was in the wrong place at the wrong time. "These guys were just out seeking justice for something that happened with them, retaliation," said Arthur.

Channel 6 News did contact the county attorney about the case. He said he did not want to comment until the fifth suspect has been arrested.
