A judge has denied bond for 27-year-old Samuel Ochoa, accused of First Degree Murder in an October homicide.
Ochoa was arrested this week in connection with the ongoing investigation of Rodney Hunt’s death.
The 31-year-old Hunt was killed on October 8, 2013 at 4570 South 60th Street. He was shot to death.
Officers were initially called to the location to investigate a report of shots being fired. That call was upgraded to a report of a shooting while police were en route.
Officers and medics arrived to find Hunt who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He later died.
Police arrested 23-year-old Anthony Floyd earlier in their investigation of this case. He was booked for First-Degree Murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The search continues for 27-year-old Amber Perez who is also wanted in connection with the case.
