The body of a missing Wyoming man has been found in a Nebraska Panhandle irrigation canal. The Nebraska State Patrol identified the body as 49-year-old Joseph Salazar of Torrington, Wyoming.
The body was found about 8pm Monday by a passerby. It was in the Pathfinder Irrigation Canal which is north of Mitchell, Nebraska.
Salazar’s wife reported him missing earlier in the day.
An autopsy has been scheduled as part of the investigation.
