The ninth annual Bockfest drew nearly 2,000 people to Crescent Moon Saturday. The German beer festival represents the beginning of spring and featured craft German beer.
"It's a wonderful day, I mean what would you rather be doing, raking leaves or drinking beer?" said Bill Baburek, owner of Crescent Moon.
Festival-goers also enjoyed German food such as bratwurst and schnitzels and music played by a German band. "This has been a tradition for my friends and we come here every year, but this is probably the biggest that I've ever seen it," said Bob Diesing.
