A Heartland man convicted in the death of his wife will stay in prison a little while longer.
Patrick Cain was convicted of manslaughter for the 2009 death of his wife Evelyn, who fell down stairs in the couple's home. Cain was sentenced to four to six years for her wrongful death.
Thursday morning, the parole board denied Cain's early release. He returns before the parole board in June.
