Two Council Bluffs women were arrested Tuesday after police were initially denied entry into a home.
Police determined 26-year-old Amanda Osborne was inside the house in the area of 21st Street and 6th Avenue, but the owner of the home, 43-year-old Debra Huhnerkopf, refused to let officers inside.
Huhnerkopf’s parole officer was called to the scene and informed her that her probation agreement allowed searches and the officers were allowed inside the house.
Police found Osborne inside and arrested her on a theft warrant. Huhnerkopf was also taken into custody for interfering with an official act.
