Blood Drives Set To Help With Genetic Disorder

A series of blood drives have been scheduled in honor of Emily Stephenson who was born with a genetic disorder called spherocytosis.

The disorder affects her red blood cells and she has had more than 20 lifesaving blood transfusions, roughly one transfusion since her birth.

The second annual blood drive in Emily's honor will be held Tuesday January 28, 2014 from 12:30pm to 6:30pm at Calvary Christian Church 10100 Cedar Island Rd in Bellevue.
