An argument between a pedestrian and a driver in Omaha’s Old Market resulted in the pedestrian being stabbed Sunday morning.
Police tell Channel 6 News the pedestrian, 30-year-old Jovan Sudar, approached the motorist at South 11th and Howard streets just after 3 a.m. The driver, 23-year-old Matthew Koval, stabbed Sudar in the abdomen. He was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in serious condition.
Koval surrendered to police at the hospital and was booked for second-degree felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
