Those who think Valentine's Day is for the birds are in luck.
Ponca State Park in the northeast corner of Nebraska is offering a special Valentine's Day package for bird-watchers.
Valentine's Day coincides with the Great Backyard Bird Count this year, and the park is offering a 30 percent discount on lodging.
Reservations for one or two night stays include breakfast, guided bird tours, firewood, all-ages educational programs, birding information, and a complimentary bottle of wine or juice.
Souvenir glasses and extra firewood are provided for the two night stay. Bird feeders and binoculars will be located at each mini-lodge.
