The Biggest Loser contestants who walked off the show last season are in the metro to share their journey of faith.
Ministers Mark Cornelison and Buddy Shuh will speak at the Christ Community Church Old Mill campus.
Cornelison met with fans Saturday afternoon at the Chick-fil-A in Papillion. He says he loved his time on the show, but didn’t realize the impact he and the other contestants had on the home audience.
“I really didn’t know until we got home how significant it really was. Even today, the show ended for me with our finale in May and now eight months later people still recognize and they’ll want to talk.”
Cornelison says the show gave him the tools to remain at a healthy weight.
The Biggest Loser’s new season starts at 8 p.m. Sunday on WOWT.
