Organizers say that up to 15,000 students will participate in Big Red Welcome events at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Concerts, rallies, free food and other events will be scheduled for August 17th through August 24th. Events on the 17th include a convocation for new students, a tunnel walk" and Cornhusker Marching Band concert in Memorial Stadium.
The last scheduled event on the 24th is the Red Fever Dance at the Nebraska Union.
