Two people were taken into custody Tuesday as a joint law enforcement task force launched a raid on two homes in Omaha. The target of raids: suspected illegal production of marijuana.
The suspects are identified as 30-year-old Bryan Cavalieri and 24-year-old Jenifer Brown.
Cavalieri was booked for possession with intent to deliver - marijuana, possession with intent to deliver - cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance.
Brown was booked for marijuana manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
A masked undercover narcotics officer told WOWT 6 News that a home at 42nd and Dayton had possibly 100 marijuana plants growing inside. Officers had also found a number of "grow lights."
The second home is located on 10th Street just south of Bancroft. Officers also found 100 marijuana plants in that home.
At the home on 10th Street, officers also found an assault rifle and a small amount of cocaine.
