An elderly Lincoln woman hit by a car while riding her bicycle through an intersection will probably lose her injured foot.
The 78-year-old was making a right turn on her bike late Friday afternoon when a car hit her. A nurse who happened to be at the scene said the woman will likely have to have her injured foot amputated.
Police said was taken to a Lincoln hospital in critical condition, but her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
