The $2 million Powerball winner has stepped forward to claim his prize. Mark Davies of Bennington, Nebraska bought the ticket at the Hy-Vee gas outlet at 156th Street and West Maple Road in Omaha.
The ticket matched five of the six numbers drawn Wednesday night, but missed the Powerball number. The ticket's $1 million prize was doubled because Davies bought the Power Play option, which automatically raised the prize to $2 million.
Davies said he'll use the money to pay off some bills and save for his children's education.
A ticket sold in Lapeer, Michigan matched all six numbers, winning the buyer the jackpot of $337 million.
