A benefit Sunday for an Omaha mom who was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Rebecca Dunwoody was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia on April 21st, now her friends and family are gathering together to raise money for medical expenses.
The event is at Holy Name Church, 2901 Fontenelle Boulevard on Sunday, May 20th from noon to 8:00 p.m.
Live music, a spaghetti dinner, horseshoe tournament and face painting are among the activities.
For those who can not make it to the event, but still would like to donate to help this young single mother of 2, donations are being accepted at any First National Bank location under "Rebecca Dunwoody Charitable Donation Account."
