John Faiman, the longtime head football coach at Bellevue West High School has died.
His family said he died Saturday from a heart condition. He was 71.
Faiman started coaching at Bellevue West in 1986 and compiled nearly 150 victories. He guided the Thunderbirds to 13 appearances in the Class A football playoffs.
