An Offutt airman has been awarded a scholarship to help him pay for college from a national company that helps people sell their unwanted or unneeded stuff online.
Bellevue BOOKOO gave Airman First Class Joshua Anderson a $1,000 "Stars and Stripe" scholarship this week.
He currently works in intelligence and plans to use the money to ear a degree in internal security and intelligence.
"Eventually, I would like to apply for Officer Training school, which requires you to have a degree, so this helps me advance towards my goal of eventually one day, becoming an officer," said Anderson.
The scholarship was open to any active duty military member.
