Being Prepared For School Shootings

Seminar on school schools to prepare local law enforcement and emergency responders.

There have been 132 school shootings in the last 12 years. As a result, 182 people have been killed or injured.

Guest Speaker for the seminar can talk from the heart.
John-Michael Keyes represents The “I Love U Guys” Foundation to districts, departments, agencies and organizations regarding school safety. His professional career has included graphic design, software development, and workflow analysis. The death of his daughter, Emily, at the hands of a gunman at Platte Canyon High School compelled Mr. Keyes to bring his professional expertise to the arena of school safety.

Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Commander, Lieutenant Kevin Griger, will provide a glimpse into the mindset that law enforcement takes regarding response to active school violence. In the afternoon, there will be a panel discussion with members of local law enforcement agencies about school violence incidents and how they are addressed
