10 days of fun events brewing in Omaha.
Omaha Beer Week is February 3, 2012 – February 12, 2012. As Omaha’s Craft Beer scene continues to grow, local Craft Beer bars, retailers and breweries across the metro come together to offer 10 beer packed days with specials and exciting events all across town to show that craft beer unifies, not divides, passions for the frothy libation.
Omaha Beer Week was born from the idea to create a showcase the growing trend, not only in the market place, but in peoples drinking habits and search for well crafted beers in Omaha. At least 12 local craft beer related businesses came together in late November to bring the Idea of Omaha Craft Beer Week to life. Each participating business will be creating their own calendar of events to run during the Omaha Beer Week bringing a multitude of events and possibilities for Omaha area Craft Beer Drinkers to experience of the 10 days.
There will be a joint event, the Craft Beer Bus Crawl to be held on Saturday February 4, 2012 from noon to midnight. With the businesses “picking up the tab” and providing party buses to move customers around to 12 different locations around Omaha hosting beer events, the day is sure to be one of the highlights of Omaha Beer Week, all while promotion safety while drinking. There will also be a Commemorative Pint Glass available that most participating business will have for sale that can earn the purchaser of the glass extra discounts or admission to special events and tastings.
