Nebraska and Ohio State fans might be overheard asking each other “Where’s the Beef?” before Saturday’s game. What they are referring to is where they can find samples of steak they read about on WOWT.COM.
The Nebraska Corn Board has announced samples of corn-fed (of course!) ribeye steak will be offered before the game. To answer the question “Where’s the Beef?”, look for a big Nebraska Corn Board display trailer with signs that will ask if you’d rather have a buckeye or a ribeye.
Samples will be served beginning at 4pm on Stadium Drive on the west side of Memorial Stadium.
The promotion is part of the Nebraska Corn Board’s “Sustaining Innovation” program that includes information about how corn farmers are growing more corn with less fertilizer, less water, and less environmental impact.
