Harlem All Stars player Les "Pee Wee" Harrison started a tour of Omaha Public Schools, delivering a message about drugs and violence.

The gym at Castelar School was filled with excited kids as Harrison put on a program of basketball pyrotechnics mixed with a message about the dangers of drug abuse and bullying.

The Monday morning talk was the first of thirteen planned for the month of November.

Harrison is a member of Meadowlark Lemon's Harlem All Stars traveling basketball team. He is also an Omaha native so today was a homecoming for him.

Harrison says "it's important to come back and get back to where we started from and I started here just like these young people and if I can help get the message in to them then hopefully as they grow older they will find out that it's very important to be a productive citizen in society"

Harrison's message to kids was simple. He said they need to " dream an unrealistic dream and ask yourself why not?".

Principal Adrianna Vargas also got into the act, demonstrating the art of balancing a spinning basketball on an ink pen.
