A man who barricaded himself in a Bellevue apartment for a little over an hour was taken into custody by law enforcement without incident.
The call to police was around 11:30 on Thursday morning.
By 12:40 p.m. Bellevue police had the man in custody.
He was identified as 20-year-old Tyrell Dalia.
According to Bellevue police, Dalia was sending threatening texts and photos of a weapon to a woman he was at one time living with.
She had planned to return to the apartment to get some of her stuff, but feared for her safety and contacted police.
When Dalia was placed in the cruiser by police, he kicked out the window and ran, police caught up with him after a short foot pursuit and deployed a taser. Police say Dalia had no major injuries, but was transported to the Bellevue Medical Center.
An officer involved in the foot pursuit also had a minor injury but did not need medical treatment.
Dalia was booked on a felony charge of terroristic threats, criminal mischief, escape, 3rd degree assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
