Police are searching for the man who robbed a Lincoln bank Thursday morning.
The suspect walked into the Nebraska Bank of Commerce at 14th and Q streets around 9:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. He did not show a weapon.
Because the robbery occurred close to the UNL campus, an alert was posted on the university's Web site.
Police said the man was wearing a brown shirt, cargo pants and a black cap. A surveillance photo shows a bandage on his left cheek. If you recognize him, you’re asked to call Lincoln police at 402-441-6000.
