Sheriff James Steinkuehler’s office says the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is now involved in finding out where the bones came from. The state medical examiner is trying to determine who the bones belonged to.
The sheriff is assuring the people of Dow City and Crawford County that there is no immediate threat to the general public.
