A Lincoln man had a pretty bad evening Wednesday. First, he was stabbed in the face and neck several times. After being treated and released at a hospital, police placed him under arrest.
Officers were called out to the area of 14th & E Street about 5 p.m. They found 29-year-old Thomas Baxter had been wounded in a house. There has been no word about a possible suspect in the attack, or motive.
After he was released, Baxter was put in jail because he was wanted for two unrelated misdemeanor warrants.
The mug shot provided by police was from a previous arrest in July.
