An Ashland woman will spend at least 3 years in prison for Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult.
Last September, Hailey Ghumm, 19, was investigated for taking medications that belonged to patients at the Ashland Care Center.
Two other individuals were also ticketed.
Saunders County Attorney Scott Tingelhoff said the minimum sentence is 36 months. The maximum is 60 months.
On September 28, an officer with the Ashland Police Department went to the Care Center to take a report on a possible theft.
It was reported to this officer that there was documentation that seemed to indicate that Hailey Ghumm and two other individuals had taken medications that belonged to patients.
