A Thursday morning house fire in Council Bluffs left investigators with more questions than answers.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. near 18th Avenue and 11th Street. Crews managed to keep the fire contained to a bedroom inside the house.
Neighbors said they saw a woman in her 40s standing outside the home after the fire started. She’s not the homeowner. The house belongs to a man in his 20s who hasn't been seen in the home for the past few days.
Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
