Armed bandits rob a small town tavern just before at closing at midnight. The robbery has a similar M-O to another one in Lincoln.

Saunders County Sheriff Kevin Stukenholtz tells WOWT6 news that two suspects walked into Harry’s Tavern in Valparaiso, Nebraska which is northwest of Lincoln. One pulled a handgun the other armed with a sharp object.

The crooks wore hoodies and skeleton type masks. Only the owner was in the establishment. He wasn’t hurt but the robbers took off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. Anyone with information should contact Saunders county sheriff’s office 402-443-1000.

The sheriff is investigating if there is a tie to an armed robbery earlier this week of a Lincoln computer store
