Armed men forced their way into a north Omaha home around 11 Monday morning. Shots were fired inside and a dog was hit in the leg.
It happened at a house near 48th and Spencer. A middle aged woman was home at the time and was not injured. The dog, a pit bull, was reportedly hit in the leg.
Police were called to the scene and are working to piece together what happened.
The suspects fled the area.
