To see the landmark that tops the list just published you'll have to head east and pack your patience. In fact, the top two are currently closed for repairs.
The list, from www.familyvacationcritic.com ranks the Statue of Liberty first and the Washington Monument takes second place.
Third place goes to The Gateway Arch in St. Louis. The Golden Gate Bridge, Space Needle, Mount Rushmore, Hoover Dam, The Hollywood Sign, The Empire State Building and the U.S. southernmost point in Key West, Florida round out the list.
