Council Bluffs police believe an overly cautious driver caused a one-car accident that may have led to a shortage of appetizers at a party.
It happened at Hunter Avenue and North Broadway, directly across from Hoover Elementary. According to officers, the driver was taking Little Smokies and meatballs to a party, but was concerned about spilling the load. As she was headed onto Hunter Avenue she was distracted by the appetizers and apparently drove onto the concrete railing. That caused her Jeep to roll onto its side.
The driver was not hurt, but all of the Little Smokies and meatballs were spilled.
