A Lincoln man says a stranger came knocking on his door Tuesday night, claiming he sold him “bunk dope”. The problem is, the man says he doesn’t know who the drunk and angry man who came to his door and he says he is not involved in drugs.
Police reports indicate the situation was reported about 7pm in the 1600 block of C Street.
The man told the stranger to leave several times. The situation grew into a disturbance. A neighbor says when he stepped outside of his apartment to see what was going on, the stranger pulled out a knife, waved it around, and then threatened him and the other neighbor.
Police arrested 46-year old Thomas Powell for two counts of making terroristic threats and using a weapon to commit a felony.
