Rapper Lil' Wayne was in Omaha Tuesday, August 20th. But fans weren't the only ones showing up to his concert.
Controversy over a YouTube clip of him stepping on an American flag drew the American Legion Riders to his concert.
They stood outside the CenturyLink Center holding flags high.
"We just felt that this is an opportunity to truly respect our flags, and remember the many men and women who have given their lives for this country, so that the freedoms Lil Wayne and others are free to do in our country, and we are here to quietly show respect for the flag," said Brian Mann, American Legion Riders Omaha Post #1 Chapter Commander.
A small group took issue with the display of flags.
"Half the people up here have never heard Wayne's music, don't know that Wayne has continuously supported the United States, and I just came out here to let them know that what they are doing right now is wrong," said an artist on Lil' Wayne's Tour, Shanel.
Most of fans attending the concert walked on right by, straight to the concert.
