A man arrested for a Walgreens robbery in Council Bluffs is now formally charged with 10 counts of First Degree Robbery. Authorities are linking Matthew Koval to a rapid-fire string of crimes in the metro.
Koval was arrested shortly after the Walgreens on East Broadway was robbed in late June. That robbery happened just as police were turning up the heat to put a stop to a spate of similar crimes in Council Bluffs and Omaha.
With that as a backdrop, the 24-year-old Koval was being held on $100,000 bond for the Walgreens robbery. He now faces 10 counts.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 11th.
