Aid To Schools South Of Omaha

State aid for upcoming year for Cass County school districts. The information is from the School Finance & Organization Service division of the Nebraska Department of Education.

The Cassgram reports the total immediately following the school district name is what is listed as “Total State Aid Calculation.” The dollar amount in [ ] is the total amount of “Equalization Aid” for each district, an amount that is included in the Total State Aid.

PLATTSMOUTH COMMUNITY SCHOOLS $7,034,800 [$6,621,596]

WEEPING WATER PUBLIC SCHOOLS $1,017,707 [$922,084]

LOUISVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS $1,044,117 [$386,322]

CONESTOGA PUBLIC SCHOOLS $153,231 [00]

ELMWOOD-MURDOCK PUBLIC SCHOOLS $1,033,995 [$727,033]

The Conestoga district has received no state “equalization” money for several of the past few years. The $153,231 comes from $93,829 in income tax rebate, $30,397 in retirement aid, and $29,005 in teacher education aid. (The Total State Aid for the other school districts also includes amounts from those three categories.)
