A 36-year-old Des Moines man accused of sexually abusing three of his nine children has been returned to Iowa.
The man didn't contest his extradition from Chicago. He was captured there April 19th at his mother's apartment.
The man faces eight counts of sexual abuse. He was booked into Polk County Jail on Sunday night, pending $200,000 bail. His wife, who was arrested in Des Moines on April 16th, faces three counts of neglect. She's also in the Polk County Jail, pending $30,000 bail.
The couple's names are not being use in order to protect the privacy of the children.
The children were removed from their parents' care and are staying in shelters and with foster families.
