The trial of Sarah Cullen continued on Thursday with the nanny’s early account of what caused the death of Cash Bell.
Cullen is accused of Child Abuse resulting in the death of the child.
In a recorded interview with investigators played at trial on Thursday, Cullen described how she dropped the infant down a staircase.
That recorded interview continued for hours. In it, Cullen said she accidently dropped the boy from the top of the stairway, roughly 10 steps from top to bottom.
When asked why it took so long to offer the explanation, Cullen said she was scared.
Earlier this week a radiologist testified that the child’s injuries were consistent with being dropped from a two-story building.
