A rally at the Capitol in Lincoln Saturday morning drew a crowd on both sides of the abortion issue.
"We want to continue to work to do whatever is necessary to protect the child and the woman and the woman from the scars of abortion," said Sandy Danek, president of Nebraska Right to Life.
"We are here to say we won't go down without a fight," said pro-choice supporter Jackson Meredith. "If we don't stand up we could see that overturned and that's kind of why we're out here braving the cold because the law is still on our side."
The gathering came three days after the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the Roe versus Wade case that declared a constitutional right to abortion.
