There is a new festival in the metro and if organizers are right it could become one of the premiere events of the fall.
ARTsarben showcases traditional art as well as offbeat, stylish works created by talented artists from around the United States. Because of the location there is much, much more.
Stinson Park at Aksarben Village is the setting so food and other entertainment is just steps away. Organizers feel it is the perfect mix. “There is kind of a Septemberfest with the brew house and the music going on over there," says Heidi Walz. "The art is really unique and eclectic, there is something for everybody and in every budget range. People shouldn’t be intimidated because they’ll find something to take home.”
Stinson Park is also the site for the Sunday Farmers Market, so for this Sunday only, it has been moved a block to the northeast next to the parking garage.
