A Wet Chilly Start For The World Series

Competitively speaking, it will be a hot match-up on Wednesday as the Cardinals take on the Red Sox for Game One of the World Series, but the weather will be anything but hot in Boston.

Fenway Park will host the first couple of games of the 2013 World Series, and the forecast is calling for a cold rain for Boston on Wednesday. By game time at 7:30 PM, there will still be a 30 percent chance for some spotty rain.

Temperatures, too, will remain chilly throughout the game, starting off near 43° for the opening pitch and then slipping to near 40° for the later innings.

It looks like spectators will need a stadium blanket and perhaps a rain poncho for Wednesday's game.
