OPPD continued to restore power Saturday to those left in the dark by Friday night's storms.
As of 6 p.m., 583 customers remained without electricity, mostly in Douglas and Sarpy counties. That's down from about 14,000 reported outages after heavy rain pelted the metro causing widespread street flooding and forcing suspension of the College World Series game between Virginia and Mississippi.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for parts of Nebraska and Iowa along the Missouri River after 6.83 inches of rain fell at Millard Airport from Friday night to about 7 a.m. Saturday and more could be on the way. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday and Monday.
