A busy road south of the metro reopened Friday morning. The Nebraska Department of Roads urges caution because there is still some construction along Webster Boulevard for a few more days. It had been closed since August 20th.
The Cassgram reports the state rebuilt the northern half of Webster as part of the Highway 75 Expansion Project.
Webster is still a Cass County road and will fall under the maintenance schedule of the county roads department, as does Bay Road. Webster Boulevard north of Plattsmouth handles about 5,000 vehicles a day to make it the busiest road on the county schedule. Bay Road west of Highway 75 has about 2,800 vehicles a day.
