A Brief Bout Of Snow

The Heartland may see a little taste of winter overnight tonight into early Saturday morning.

A weak disturbance drifting through the region may trigger a little bit of light snow/wintry mix very late tonight and then some light snowfall spilling over into early Saturday morning.

Our latest forecast models indicate that any precipitation will be very light, and many of us may not even see any snowfall. So the worse case scenario is that you might find yourself dusting a little snow from your car windshield Saturday morning.

By the afternoon hours on Saturday, expect partly cloudy skies to return but the colder weather stays in place. Highs for Saturday will be in the upper 30s and then be stuck in the 20s for Sunday.
