A woman suffered fatal injuries in a fall early Friday morning from the fifth floor of the Highland Tower at 24th and B streets.
While the incident took place less than an hour after police had answered a disturbance call, police say they do not suspect foul play. Police identified the victim as 20-year-old Ashley Laudermith.
Laudermith was found near the building and may have hit a window air conditioner as she fell. She was taken to Creighton University Medical Center where she later died.
Police took two people in for questioning about the incident, but reported later they do not suspect foul play.
