Police say alcohol appears to be a factor in a two-vehicle crash that killed an Omaha woman Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses told officers 46-year-old Lori White was driving south on 108th Street when she ran a red light and collided with a pickup heading west on West Maple Road about 4 p.m.
White was taken to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition where she died from her injuries. Police say it appears she had been drinking.
The driver of the pickup, 19-year-old Joseph Borgeson of Omaha, was treated at Methodist Hospital for minor cuts and scrapes and released.
