A 44-year-old Detroit man has been sentenced to 10-14 years in prison for hauling more than 720 pounds of marijuana.
Stuart Howard was sentenced Tuesday despite his insistence that he didn't know about the drugs in the camper behind the sport utility vehicle he was riding in.
Howard and two other Detroit residents were arrested last June after they were stopped while speeding through Lincoln on Interstate 80.
A jury deadlocked in a trial for another of the three, 41-year-old Sarah McGee. Her second trial on the possession-for-sale charge is pending.
The third person, 55-year-old Anthony Laws, is being tried before a judge, and a verdict is expected next month. He pleaded not guilty.
