Late night dip leads to arrests. Cass County sheriff’s deputies went to the Eagle city pool at approximately 12:50am Saturday (6/5) in response to a report of people trespassing and swimming.
The Cassgram reports upon arrival, two male parties were observed swimming in the pool. The suspects climbed the fence and attempted to flee from the area when deputies arrived. A foot pursuit ensued, resulting in one of the suspects being caught and taken into custody. The other suspect was later identified and apprehended shortly thereafter at his residence in Eagle.
Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann says Neil D. Chapman, age 21, from Lincoln and Christopher L. Chapman, age 25, from Eagle were arrested and booked on charges of Obstructing a Peace Officer and 2nd Degree Criminal Trespassing.
