Omaha Police have identified a woman who died in a traffic accident at Interstate 680 and Military Road Monday as 19-year-old Amanda J. Stuart.

Ms. Stuart was a passenger in a car driven by 21-year-old Christopher James.

Police say that their vehicle was northbound on the inside lane of 680 between Fort and Military at 5:22 p.m. when the driver's side tires left the pavement. Police say James over-corrected and the vehicle rolled and crashed into a ditch.

Investigators say that Ms. Stuart was killed instantly.

Police say Christopher James was treated at Creighton University Medical Center and released.

Another passenger in the car, 19-year-old Katelynn Emken, was admitted to Creighton University Medical Center in serious condition and treated for a dislocated hip and a knee laceration.
