The 3-year-old who lost his foot in a lawnmower accident is now home from the hospital.
Carter Geddings was injured May 3rd while at a babysitter’s house near 215th and Ida. Witnesses said the boy got too close to a riding lawnmower. The teenager at the wheel could not stop in time.
Brent Geddings told Channel 6 News that his son was released from Creighton University Medical Center Saturday. He said Carter is happy to be back in familiar surroundings and “doing well.”
A charitable fund has been established to help pay for a prosthetic foot and rehabilitation. Those who wish to donate can do so at any First National Bank location. Specify "Carter Geddings Charitable Donations Fund."
